Took this on a long hike and the collapsible design saved me so much room compared to the bulky bowl I used before. The sturdy build held up even when my dog got a little too excited and tried to knock it over mid-drink.
The clips on the side hold it shut tight, so it folds down flat enough to slip into my backpack pocket without taking up space. We've used it on three hikes already and it's held up perfectly, even when my dog got excited and knocked it over.
It fits easily into my daypack, and the whole thing weighs almost nothing, which is exactly what I needed for trail days.
