Our husky plows face-first into drifts and these are the first boots that actually keep her paws dry the whole walk. The fleece sleeve goes high enough that no snow packs into the gap, and the waterproof fabric stays flexible even in single digits. Worth every penny for winter hikes.

The fleece-lined sleeve is the reason I bought these, and it really does keep the snow from packing into her legs on our deep hikes. She seems comfortable and warm, though I wish the strap closure was slightly easier to adjust with gloves on.
